In this dental aesthetic treatment, the veneers are placed directly on your natural teeth, changing size, color and shape; giving a more harmonic and beautiful appearance as this high resistant material is carefully shaped and molded to your teeth in between 5 to 7 hours on average. Our dental veneers are made out of  80% ceramic and 20% composite resin, both highly resistant materials. You can have composite veneers with no pain, no recovery days and no anaesthesia. On average composite veneers can last between 6 to 8 years.
Porcelain veneers, also known as ceramic sheets, give a more natural look to your smile. This cosmetic dental treatment takes a 3- day procedure, having an average lasting period of about 16 to 20 years. We provide this option using the latest technology in cosmetic dentistry.
This ultra-thin shell of tooth-coloured porcelain is placed over the surface of your natural teeth after removing about half a millimeter of enamel from its surface. Porcelain veneers change the alignment, spacing, cracks and discolouration of your smile.
We have two types of smile design procedures:

Frequent Questions (FAQs)

What are dental veneers?

Ultra-thin shells made from either porcelain or resin (Porcelain Veneers or Composite Veneers), these are used to renew the look of your teeth while restoring the strength of your dental enamel. They are attached directly onto your teeth with specific dental procedures, all custom-made to fit the contours of your smile.

Why should I use veneers?

While veneers boast many cosmetic benefits, they also serve many restorative purposes including misshapen, severely discolored or cracked teeth and at the same time, they improve the aesthetic appearance, strength and shape of your smile.

They can also be used to repair teeth with chips or small holes, or those that are particularly worn down—enhancing your bite and improving your oral health.

What are the benefits of using veneers?

Less intrusive than crowns or braces they can greatly improve the appearance of gaps or small misalignments in your bite. As well, veneers are also very tough to stain so it is a surefire way to transform discolored teeth to sparkling white, not only they are individually sculpted for each patient but you have, as a result, an ideal natural-looking smile with this non-invasive procedure.

How does the process of getting Porcelain Veneers work?

Porcelain Veneers can take 3 appointments to complete the entire process. We start by removing a half millimeter of your dental enamel cleaning the tooth to determine the correct shade of the veneer at this time. Using high-tech equipment, we will make an impression of the teeth which will be sent to a laboratory for the construction of your veneer.

Once your model has been created, we will remove the temporary, and clean the tooth thoroughly. Once is clean we cement the veneer onto your tooth carefully following the exact model contour closely, hardening the cement with a special light beam.

Finally, we will remove any excess material and polish the veneer. Your smile will look brighter and natural instantly! Usually, we do not apply anesthesia during this procedure, still, it is available for low pain tolerance patients.

How does the process of getting Composite Veneers work?

Unlike Porcelain Veneers, which are a single-crafted veneer bonded to your tooth, Composite Veneers are added to the tooth in mouldable layers. The shade color is chosen and then the teeth are cleaned. Each layer is hardened with a light beam before the next one is applied, giving the shape and color desired to finally polish to give a natural look. Finally, all excess is removed and the veneer is polished again.

This procedure could take 5 to 7 hours on average to be complete. Usually, we do not apply anesthesia for these procedures, still, it is available for low pain tolerance patients.

How do I take care of veneers?

Luckily, maintaining veneers is fairly easy—just keep up a proper oral hygiene routine! We recommend:

  • Brushing 3 times a day for 2 minutes.
  • Flossing daily your teeth. (To avoid spots between the interdental spaces )
  • Wearing a bite guard at night is a great way to protect them.
  • Avoid eating hard foods like almonds, or cracking shells with the front veneers.
  • Instead of biting some foods like apple or pear, preferably cut them in several pieces to avoid fractures.
  • Professional cleaning every 6 months.
  • Check for yearly follow up of your veneers to avoid possible issues.
